IT Capacity planner

Role:IT Capacity planner’s

Location requirements: Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX (3 days onsite, 2 Remote) Contract Length: 12-18+ months

Must Haves: Solid understanding of capacity management (not just performance engineering) Ability to build capacity models. Should have knowledge of broader measurement of capacity. Familiar with key concepts related to CPU, memory, forecasting MS Excel 2+ years of experience overall Knowledge of: App Dynamics, Dynatrace, Data Dog, Splunk Excellent communication skills to work with fast-paced, sharp clients (So large enterprise is ideal)

Work will include:

• BVI / Demand gathering – initial efforts to be focused on existing data and will expand to AITs for creation.
• Focus will be primarily assisting Global Markets Production Support Capacity owners in bringing in new AITs Candidate will assist with multiple applications onboarding and have a specific set of deliverables around Performance and Capacity Includes Risk and Regulatory Management, Information Security Generalist Skills, Information Security Management Once performance testing is underway, the candidate will review saturation test results and artifacts (e.g., AppDynamics, DynaTrace, Splunk, SAR/vmstat, application logs and Performance Center results) to measure and interpret capacity thresholds/limits.
