IT Data Engineer

Role: Sr. IT Data Engineers

Duration: 6+ year contract Client: Liberty Mutual Duration: 100% REMOTE/This position is fully remote, but the candidate must be able to work EST hours.

W2 Only 100% REMOTE

The type of candidates that are going to get us the win here are:

• AWS • Heavy Data environment background

POSITION DESCRIPTION: We are looking two senior level software engineers with AWS(Kinesis, Lambda, S3), Java/Python experience to join an existing team that is moving data from source systems into our data lake. This person needs to come from a heavy data driven environment. These two developers will be doing XP development, data ingestion into the data lake (S3 piece). They will take the data from the data lake and move into the data warehouse. They will be working with a lot of internal development groups. Working with internal teams (Underwriting, Surety, LSM, etc) to move their data from data lake into data warehouse. The AWS piece is key, the current team is just getting into this tech stack. Ideally bringing on senior resource that have experience and can assist with the team learning this type techs. Contractors need to be sitting in the Eastern time zone, current team is EST.
