Apex Systems is searching for Java Developers for a REMOTE Java Developer role that is a 4 month contract with one of our clients in Richmond, VA.

Java Developer Responsibilities:

Work with an intimate and collaborative team as a Java Developer performing mostly new development and heavily focused on Rest APIs/Java backend for web applications. Tech stack you will be working with: Java, Rest APIs, SQL Server, Spring Boot, JUnit, Tomcat, HTML, CSS, AWS Be a solution oriented problem solver who enjoys collaborating with team members Ability to communicate effectively and speak up in a positive way when they feel there is a solution or have concerns.

Java Developer Requirements:

4+ years Java

3+ years Rest APIs

3+ Experience with relational databases – SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle

3+ years Spring Boot

3+ years Experience testing your own code with JUnit

Experience working with Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere

Some experience working with HTML and CSS
