About the role
• We are looking for a Senior developer, preferably with exposure to Cloud Architectures & public cloud offerings. • Role requires taking ownership for end to end delivery in an Agile team setting. • You will have to interact directly with the users and with technologists across the firm to deliver components of the strategic • Settlement platform and integrate them with the other systems in the firm and externally. • If you have a track record of delivering large-scale distributed applications, preferably on Azure/Cloud, wed like to meet you. Qualifications Skills required (essential): • Hands-on with 8+ years experience in designing & building distributed transactional systems. • Excellent working knowledge of Java programming & Middleware (Messaging, Caching). • Sound understanding of design patterns, system resiliency, observability, scalability and performance. • Understanding of Cloud-based application development preferably using Microsoft Azure Cloud. • Understanding of Databases (NoSQL / document store, RDBMS). • Experience of Agile development practices. Skills desired (recommended): • Prior experience in FinTech application development. • Exposure to working in a global delivery team. • Experience of leading and mentoring developers.
