About the role
Role- JAVA DEVELOPER Duration- 6 Months Location- Remote Must Have Experience with: Core Java - Advanced Spring Boot - Advanced Oracle advanced SQL, Stored Procs (PL/SQL), experience with JBoss or any other enterprise environments, nor with JMS queues. Will be transitioning between a legacy team and strategic initiative team. When initiatives are completed they will be on Lori’s team until a new initiative arises Legacy team environment Java / Springboot • Oracle 8 (not important to have the right version) – need to be able to write advanced SQL, Stored Procs (PL/SQL), Triggers, Indexing and DB design. Should know a little bit about data ingestion pipelines • Need J2EE as well • The Leads will need to have hands on experience with building the CI pipelines, the Mids will help with that so exposure to modern app development is a must o Git / Jenkins • They need to be able to do unit testing and integration • JBoss (JBoss is highly preferred but they might be ok if someone has everything except for JBoss and have WebLogic, Tomcat etc.) • React / JavaScript is a really nice to have • Agile experience is REALLY nice to have 5 – 8 years of relevant experience in Java, J2EE technologies Total experience of 4.5 – 8 years of experiences in full stack development Experience working with the CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiatives Experience in Web services- Restful Hands on with Core Java/ J2ee (Spring, Hibernate, MVC) Hands-on with any of the IDE (IntelliJ/Eclipse/RAD etc.) Hands-on with Rest based web services Hands-on with SQL queries and MySQL experience Hands-on with any RDBMS Strong Java programming (JDK1.8) experience Unit Testing experience in JUnit/TestNG/Spock Thorough understanding of Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) concepts Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in using Spring Core, Spring JDBC, Rest Web services & MySQL DB Possess sound knowledge of SDLC processes Proficient in use of application servers preferably Jboss Experience performing assigned software development tasks using established standards and procedures without any supervision Solid technical skills including solid understanding of software development methodologies and principles -- ---- Thanks & Regards, Tejash - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
