About the role
ROLE:JAVA DEVELOPER
LOCATION:100% REMOTE DURATION:6 MONTHS TO HIRE INTERVIEW:ONE ROUND OF VIDEO INTERVIEW TO HIRE NOTE:MUST WORK ON W2 (NO C2C)
Must have notes from Manager: We need a good Full Stack developers (80% backend/20% front end). Must have strong Java dev experience with version 11 or higher and ideally experience version 17. Must have experience with React on the front end.
Job Requirements:
· Full Stack Agile development of web-based enterprise solutions utilizing Java. React, HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, CSS frameworks, JavaScript/Typescript, JSON, SQL, Postgres. · Develop code and unit tests using Java, React, plsql. · Create UI components using React, supporting multiple browsers, platforms, and assistive technology (e.g., screen reader). · Develop reusable react components. · Collaborate with team to develop new features and functionality. · Participate in all Agile ceremonies.
Required Skills: · 9+years as a full stack software engineer building multi-tier, enterprise web-based solutions using technologies/frameworks such as React, REST, JavaScript ES6, Typescript, JSON, Java EE, Spring, RDBMS, ORM, REST. · 9+ years in one or more technical disciplines (e.g. architecture, process re-engineering, development, verification) · 2+ years estimating, planning, and executing complex projects using Agile methodologies. · Developing systems with Section 508 compliance · Experience with SonarQube · Experience with build tools such as webpack, npm, Strorybook etc. · Experience with code version tools such as GitHub. · Experience with HTTP and design patterns applicable to RESTful web applications. · Building strong relationships through Agile team(s) and personal performance · Collaborating in a multiple team environment · Exceptionally strong communication skills, verbal and written. Includes the ability to effectively communicate complex information to audiences with varying technical and system backgrounds and at multiple organizational levels · Proven ability to learn new technologies quickly.
Education/Certifications: Computer Science degree or bachelor’s degree in a related major
Desired Skills: CMS experience Supporting client stakeholders with varying levels of Agile experience Proficient in MS Project, MS Word, and MS Excel Expertise in Secure Coding and Secure Development Life Cycle preferred.
