Web Developer The Academic Information Systems team is currently working on several high and medium priority web application development projects. We are looking for two highly skilled web developers with extensive experience in developing web applications using Angular and Spring Boot. This position will participate in Agile sprints and supports rapid iteration and development.

Responsibilities

• Implement applications using Angular and Spring Boot. • Test applications to ensure compliance with requirements and the absence of bugs. • Communicate development status, issues, and questions via demonstrations and reports. • Conform to existing architecture, with freedom to inform and advise of possible improvements. • Use existing tool suite (VS Code, Eclipse), with freedom to inform and advise of better options. • Prioritize workload and meet multiple project deadlines. • Accept a variety of assignments, including enhancing or addressing issues with existing applications. • Adopt new frameworks or libraries as our technology stack evolves.

Experience: • Must have extensive experience working with Angular • Must have experience working with Spring Boot • Extensive experience in Java • Experience with NodeJS • Experience with Maven, GIT, and Swagger • Experience developing RESTful API • Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and verbal • Can work independently and with teams • Experience working in Agile environments, with evolving priorities, and tight timelines
