Project Scope / Business Driver: Looking for a pure backend engineer who is strong w/Java & Springboot. They are joining to build a KPI feature to show metrics in mobile labs. Experience with mobile apps is really nice to have, because the Club Managers & Market Managers are using them to make business decisions ex. Sales Analytics

Application Landscape: • Java / Springboot • Deployed on Azure • Looking for HEAVY Microservices • Maven – CI/CD (flavor of Jenkins) • Feature determines whether its RDBMS or NoSQL • SQL is a must (just need good skills with querying for a business problem) • NoSQL gets the win • They use a flavor of TDD, but not full blow, candidates need to understand this + JUnit or Mickito/JMockit (Mock is preferred) etc.

Team Size, Breakdown & Stakeholders: 1 product manager, 6-8 people doing FE / BE & 2 SDETs Development Methodology: Agile – 2 week sprints Testing Methodology: TDD

Must Haves / Candidate Profile: • Java / Spring Boot / Microservices • Cloud experience (Azure is highly preferred) • CI/CD experience (Maven, Jenkins, Git etc.) • TDD – We don’t have to have true TDD experience, but people should be REALLY good at writing their own unit tests and executing them in 1) Mockito 2) JMockit or 3) Junit (listed in order of preference) • SQL & NoSQL experience

Nice to Haves: • True TDD experience
