About the role
Role: Senior Java Developer with Automation
Duration: 12 months contract Location: Alpharetta,GA
Required Skills : Java, Playwright, Automation experience, Agile, very strong communication skills
Job Description : Technical leadership and hands-on role working as a member of cross-functional engineering teams developing automation code and leveraging multiple tools and techniques. Providing technical leadership, strategic and tactical automation direction, automated product features test coverage, and mentors QA and Engineering resources to ensure that software is of adequate quality.
Responsibilities
• Works with QA, Dev and management in executing Platform Automation Roadmaps • Identifies cross-team dependencies/impacts in planning, both technical and procedural • Use BDD, TDD and ATDD techniques to automate in-sprint features and integration tests leveraging code-based tools • Identifies and automates manual smoke and regression tests • Responsible for integration and E2E automation suite maintenance • Collaborates and transfers knowledge with stakeholders • Leads implementation of software engineering best practices and identifies needed improvements • Oversees automated test coverage and keeps engineering team accountable • Develops detailed documentation to support the automation effort • Participates in manual testing when needed Requirements: • Demonstrated automation experience in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript (must complete a written test) • Experience with Playwright or Cypress automation framework • Experience with Cucumber • Experience with automation within CI/CD • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills • Experience working in a Lean / Agile shop • Strong communication skills – written and verbal • Experience automating mobile applications is a plus -- Thanks & Regards, Pallavi Reddy| Technical Recruiter Thoughtwave Software and Solutions Desk: 630-228-9745 , EXTN:167 Email: pallavi@thoughtwavesoft.com Linked in: https://www.linkedin.com/in/pallavi-batchu-2756a8296/
