Java Fullstack Developer

Role: Developer

Location: Plano, TX (Hybrid - 4 days onsite/week) Duration: 1 year Contract (potential extension)

Top Skills:

• 4+ years of backend development. Strong development experience in Java 11 and higher versions
• 4+ years of experience developing, and deploying spring-boot applications using a microservice architecture, containerization (OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
• 3+ years of experience designing and developing robust and scalable RESTful APIs using best practices and security guidelines.
• Performance Tuning, Optimization, support: Troubleshoot issues to identify root cause, ability to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Java applications.
• UI development experience: Development experience in React framework.
• Plus to have experience working with virtual directory services with strong LDAP experience.

Tech Stacks: Gitlab, OpenShift

• Build and maintain internally developed application called IAM Security Catalog. This requires good API development with UI expertise for the front-end work.
• Help maintain Radiant Virtual Directory Services. This is good to have experience.
• Ensure candidates have proven work experience with API and UI development.

Description:

• Must have led parts of implementation for at least 1 or 2 large sized projects
• Programs technically medium to highly complex solutions based on business requirements
• Creates unit tests to ensure accuracy. Track record of identifying largest risk areas and driving resolution of these issues
• Provides accurate and timely input regarding status of technical tasks
• Ensure project goals make sense and overall development objectives are being met
• Designs and develops high quality, scalable and efficient solutions and products on schedule
• Mentors lesser tenured developers within the team
