About the role
Role:Architect – Java Modernization
Location:Hopkins, MN (onsite 3x a week) Duration:1 year + contract
Must Haves: Java/Spring Boot development background Experience automating development tasks using any combo of the tools listed above The team doesn’t have anyone with Python experience, so that would be very beneficial Sr Engineer level Does not NEED AI but highly preferred. they will be automating tasks and having AI to automate tasks would be great to have
Project: • Team works within the API space. • They have a lot of development-related tasks that they are doing manually – migrating from one pipeline to another, vulnerability remediation, etc. Taking up a lot of time, so looking to automate these tasks Responsibilities: • Write automation scripts for the above mentioned dev activities o Could use various tools/resources – Python, Java, AI, IDEs, etc. • Will be the point-person for automation-related questions from other teams
Must Haves: • Java/Spring Boot development background • Experience automating development tasks using any combo of the tools listed above o The team doesn’t have anyone with Python experience, so that would be very beneficial • Experience as a lead, comfortable mentoring/training others, answering questions, etc. What Will Win: • Financial services background – any experience would be helpful, but don’t need to be an expert
Responsibilities
