About the role
Title: Tech Lead Duration: 6 months to start but they want them here long-term Location: 100% remote, Tech Stack: Microservices Architecture GCP, AWS or like MongoDB, Casandra, BigQuery, BigTable or similar Need: Guided Health Team Roadmap - very data intensive team, goal is to look at analytics and discover opportunities for prescription mgmt. and intervention Tech Stack: Identical to the Java Lead Strong Java Big Data Any Cloud experience (GCP preferred but open) Nice to have o Background in MicroService Architecture with Spring Boot o Big Data/Data Analytics – MongoDB, Casandra, TeraData or similar o Automated testing frameworks - Cucumber, Gherkin or Similar o Cloud Computing – Vmware Tonzu, GCP or similar o User Interface Design and Development – REACT, Angular or Similar o Dev OPS - CI/CD Pipeline o Kotlin and Docker o Kafka or other event streaming platform. o Experience working in environment with regulatory compliance requirements (HIPAA, PCI, etc.) This team has never had a dedicated solution architect. Usually their leads do the architecture as well. Goal here is to offload that work so they can focus on just development work. They do have an enterprise architect tied to their team though. This role will be 40% technical design/solutioning, 30% working with other teams/architects and 30% integrating/meeting/leading the team. Must be okay in a leadership role! Not expecting them to POC anything on their own but would be providing direction. Don’t need to be in daily scrum stand ups Responsible of determining – does the approach match with their solutions? Real time data streaming (Kafka), Cloud, and Big Data Extract Need someone who can come in and be “the person” – needs to accumulate artifacts and start from scratch. Someone who wants an established architect team would not be a good fit here.
