Jr DevOps Engineer

Role: Jr DevOps Engineer Location: Remote Duration: 6+ months • Seeking a Mobile Dev Ops Engineer Responsibilities/Requirements: • Responsible for the day to day management and administration of Infrastructure as Code components to meet business needs • Manage CI & CD tools and pipeline as a partner to development teams • Focus on continual process improvement • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices (Agile/Scrum) • Knowledge or Automation around Software Deployments • Extensive Knowledge of CI and CD practices and supporting tools (GoCD, Team City or similar) • Solid understanding of Cloud, AWS technologies • 2+ years running production systems on AWS ,Datadog • Experience with TypeScript & JavaScript • Experience with DynamoDB, S3 and Cognito • Demonstrated success in implementing software automation for deployment and operation • Demonstrated experience installing, operating and troubleshooting a variety of open source technologies • Extensive knowledge about IIS and IIS Management Console • Basic understanding of Load Balancers, Firewalls, DNS and IP Networking Concepts • Coordinates with DevOps, Problem Management, etc escalations to support monitoring • Work with the development team and management to ensure high availability • Teamwork- Works well in a collaborative setting, volunteering for and completing assignments, acting as a positive team member by contributing to discussions, developing and maintaining relations. Qualifications: Required – • 4+ years professional experience • Experience with version control tools (TFS, GitHub). • Experience with automation/configuration management • Strong understanding of DevOps and platform software tools • Strong understanding of Windows , Web servers , (Nice to have Couch Base, Document DB , Kafka knowledge, AWS Cloud Deployment Tools) • Experience in standard deployments and governance • Strong problem solving, decision making and facilitation skills • Solid knowledge about compiling, building and deploying .net applications, services and (preferred) Mobile applications • Manage monitoring of overall application availability, latency and system health Preferred – • Preferred if have knowledge about .Net Micro services and Service Fabric • Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting and Batch scripting • Experience with Dynamo DB • Good understanding of Serverless and Cloud Formation • Understanding of best practices for AWS, EC2, Couchbase and monitoring of containers Thanks & Regards, M Pavan Kumar IT-Recruiter Staffing | Thoughtwave Software and Solutions Desk: 630-381(0025) || Email:pavan@thoughtwavesoft.com
