About the role
Role: Lead/Sr. DevOps Engineer Duration: 12 mo + contract to hire Location: Remote to start, then needs to be in Wells Fargo location after COVID. Locations: Boston, Charlotte, Dallas, Summit NJ, Philly, Raleigh, NC, Requirements: DevOps- 6+ yearsJenkinsKubernetesAutomation- will be streamlining automation processesIdeally needs lead experience!NOT looking for heavy cloud· Deep understanding of Scrum-Agile and DevOps processes, frameworks principles and practices· Hands On Experience developing Proof of Concepts for CI/CD Pipelines around Project-based development initiatives· Hands on Experience working with a variety of DevOps and Automation Toolchains. Ability to compare and contrast market options· Experience with DevOps tools in the following Categories:o Collaborationo Containerizationo CI/CDo Automated Testingo Release Managemento SecOps integration solutionso Infrastructure-As-Code Solutions· Candidate is expected to be comfortable and experienced with DevOps toolso Broad knowledge and understanding of the leading DevOps toolchainso Ability to suggest toolchain and automation approaches and strategieso Ability to assess and recommend tools and DevOps approaches that would be beneficial for the organizationo Relevant certifications on the fields of Agile, DevOps, and Cloudo Relevant experience in transforming teams/organization to Agile DevOps ways of working· Strong Analytical and Communication skills· Planning and Co-ordination skills, Stakeholder Management· Strong written and verbal communication skills are an absolute necessity· Experience and desire to work in a management consulting environmentJob Responsibilities· Working with leadership teams to help adopt consistent, disciplined Agile and DevOps delivery capabilities· Agile DevOps coaching and supporting at the team, program, portfolio and senior stakeholder levels of the organization· Current with best practices for CI/CD· Identify risks, issues and impediments to end users Agile / DevOps Transformations and help clients to successfully progress their transformations.· Instill agile DevOps values and principles· Ensure alignment with relevant Agile methodologies, frameworks and practices· Identify plans to transition supported Agile teams from Agile coaching to self-sufficient Agile Teams· Work with other coaches to deliver consistent Agile & DevOps practices across organization· Partner with the business and technical teams in order to translate tactical and strategic objectives into workable IT solutions Issue Management, Scope Management, Schedule and Resource Plan Management, Project Risk Management Thanks & Regards Syam B, 630-923-6952 syam@thoughtwavesoft.com
