Lead Jaava Engineer

Role: Lead Java Engineer Duration: 6 Months Location: Remote Required Skills: Java Kafka Spring Cloud Job Description: Leading IT Mediation and Integration Software Development enablement team. Ensuring that the on boarding and use of Software development technologies are efficient and seamless to the solutions product teams. Responsible for ensuring technology solutions are designed to meet resiliency, stability, non-functional, functional, and operational readiness use cases. This position is responsible for ongoing development, maintenance, support and architecture of existing systems and platforms. This position provides thought leadership and champions software architecture, software engineering best practices, innovative solutioning and Agile and Dev Ops best practices. Must have technologies: Java, Gradle, Git, Spring-boot, Microservices, Avro, DevOps, and Realtime Message services. Nice to have technologies: Kafka, RabbitMQ, GitHub workflows, Cloud Foundry, GCP Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring technology solutions are designed to meet resiliency, stability, non-functional, functional and operational readiness use cases Responsible for ongoing development, maintenance and support of existing systems and platforms Provide thought leadership and champion software engineering best practices, innovative solutioning and Agile and Dev Ops best practices Own technology solutions within area, including proactive monitoring and alerting, technological roadmap communication of overall health and future sustainability Partner with Architecture, Infrastructure and Security to ensure excellence in solution design and evolution of systems architecture Can work with other tech leads to align on technologies and best practices Ability to work with Product Owner and Scrum Mater on roadmaps and goals for M&I team Coaching and empowering Jr. Developers.
