Report To Required SkillsBachelor’s degree preferred and 8+ years of progressive software development experience in Java stack 8+ years of advanced Java development experience 5+ years of relational database experience (Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL) 5+ years of developing REST API’s (not just consuming) 3+ years’ of development of Spring Boot/Microservices applications (not simply using pre-built Microservices, but writing microservices) 2+ years’ of experience with back-end NoSQL Databases required (MongoDB preferred but experience with any NoSQL database will be sufficient) 2+ years’ of experience with advanced JavaScript libraries required (Vue.js or React – Vue.js preferred)

Additional Skills Description:

Act as a Lead Software Engineer with focus on building out back-end Spring Boot/Microservices for Customer Loyalty Applications. Develop new web applications and maintain existing applications utilizing modern web technologies such as Spring Boot, REST, Vue.js, JavaScript, SQL and MongoDB. Work with additional open systems tech such as Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, MongoDB, Oracle DB, Spring Boot, etc. Translate business requirements into system design, work directly with business analysts on requirements, prepare detailed technical specifications, and provide hour or story point estimates. Perform leadership role under minimal direction to design, code, test, debug, and maintain programs. Provide system support, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system issue. Provide guidance, training and mentorship to other associates, including performing code peer reviews, suggesting best practices and following SDLC processes.  Requirements

Strong ability to write SQL queries as necessary. Experience with Azure DevOps or JIRA. Experience in Cloud environment with Azure Cloud preferred. Experience in Agile/Scrum required.
