Lead .net

Role: Lead .Net Developer. It will be hybrid onsite in Minneapolis, MN; Atlanta, GA; or Hackensack, NJ. Please target these areas before sending over relocation candidates. Project: Enterprise-wide cloud migration project. This initiative has been rolled on in phases: 2023 – 10% of applications need to be on Azure 2024 – 60% of applications 2025 – 90% of applications (some applications have customer specific data that cannot be cloud hosted, some mainframe applications won’t be cloud hosted – this makes up the remaining 10%) Many of the applications are outdated on technologies like SQL Server 2008 and .NET 2.0 and will need to be modernized before they can be migrated to Azure This team owns 60 applications and need to: Identify what can be migrated Modernize the selected applications Migrate them to Azure Keep the lights on for the rest of the applications while doing the above Must Haves: .NET – will be modernizing applications from early versions to 4.8 and 7.0 Azure DevOps – need to be able to build pipelines and stand up the environment Previous experience leading teams Azure – should be experienced in migrating/deploying applications to Azure Must have OLTP experience Experience working with SQL Server 2016 Nice to Have: SSIS/ETL experience is helpful but not required – they have 3 SSIS Engineers who will handle most of the data migration/modernization Financial Services – this team supports FS from an Accounting perspective. It’s helpful to have this experience, but easy to learn
