Role: Lead SharePoint Developer

Client: Optum Eden Prairie, MN (will on-board remote) Projected 6 month contract-to-hire

Notes from Conversation with Manager: · Optum’s intranet is on SP 2013 and want to leverage ms0365 to update to SP Online (currently migrating over to it from company perspective); looking to do some automatic migrations · SP Online – Lead role; develop and drive and innovate on team · Most of team is from .Net background but has been working on SP 2013 for some time now · Power platform would be nice to have · Lead: help train and guide and help do code reviews · This person will be leading the charge on building out the site (creating an intranet site with SP Online) · There is a separate o365 team that they are working closely with who is doing more of the collab tools heavy lifting (i.e. Yammer, Teams, etc) and this team is solely responsible for the configuring/developing; don’t need an architect

PROJECT: Our Intranet is undergoing a revamp and upgrade from SharePoint 2013 to SP Online

*** What experience will set candidates apart from one another? Overall well rounded in all O365. 2+ years of experience building M365 products solutions including but not limited to SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Yammer, Planner, Exchange, and the Power Platform.

TOP REQUIREMENTS: · Prior implementation experience with SP Online for Intranet is a must · 5+ years of hands-on experience in Office 365/M365, SharePoint on-premises, and SharePoint Online · 2+ years of hands-on experience building SharePoint Online modern intranet solutions

Team size & structure: • Corporate Communications customer lead and analyst • 4 Developers • 1 IT Analyst • 1 Systems Architect

What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background, etc.)? • Web Development and Intranet implementation specifically around SP Online

What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position? (Please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis) • Help drive and lead the creation of a modern Intranet via SP Online • Lead, train, and manage development team • Coordinate and leverage other internal IT Teams during implementation • Drive complex solutions and implementation • Ensure best practices, configurations, and overall architecture is optimally implemented

What skills/attributes are required (Please be detailed as to number of years of experience)? • 7+ Years development experience • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Office 365/M365, SharePoint on-premises, and SharePoint Online • 2+ years of hands-on experience building SharePoint Online modern solutions • 2+ years of experience building M365 products solutions including but not limited to SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Yammer, Planner, Exchange, and the Power Platform • 3+ years as team development lead

What skills/attributes are preferred (will set a candidate apart)? • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Experience in an development agile environment • Communication with various levels of leadership and customers • Experience with cross team collaboration • Proficient in PowerShell. • Experience in GitHub and Azure Dev Ops. • Prior experience with SP2013 is preferred • Experience with SharePoint migration tools in configuring and executing migration jobs, identifying migration errors and remediating issues is a nice to have
