LOCATION:100% Remote DURATION:6+ month contract to hire
Requirements
3-5 years large-scale experience with open source/code-based macOS management tools (Puppet, Chef, Munki, Autopkg) Proven success managing endpoints in a global, remote environment Experience with security tooling such as device encryption, anti-virus tooling, digital certificates, patching, and application management Experience with scripting in one language (e.g. Python, Bash, Go, PowerShell, Ruby) Gaming experience is a huge plus (i.e. Nintendo, Netflix, etc.) DevOps mindset

What You'll Do
Epic Games is looking for a macOS engineer to join our Client Platform Engineering Team. This person will help manage, maintain, and support our macOS fleet across multiple environments and scenarios, including end-user devices, Mac build farms, and more. The successful candidate will have previous experience with code-based tools and scripting. The right person is passionate about endpoints, security, automation, and learning.
Day to day: ● Support and maintain the macOS fleet - including profile and application deployment, implementingsecurity enhancements, and handling ticket escalations ● Work with cross-functional partners to automate the endpoint lifecycle ● Automate Mac build farms to support Fortnite development for iOS ● Support M&As, e-discovery, compliance, and audit efforts across the IT organization ● Develop and refine operational metrics, improving the systems used to track our fleet health ● Build and maintain internal and external documentation around process and workflows ● Function as an escalation point for the IT organization and the business
Nice to haves: ● Familiarity with version control (git) and CI/CD ● Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
