Start Date: If a candidate will not be able to start within 2-3 weeks of an accepted offer, don’t put in process (unless you have asked and we have agreed to wait longer) COVID-19: Toyota Connected will be working remotely until June 2021. Out of town candidates must be willing to relocate to Dallas once we start going back into the office. We will not accept candidates that want to travel back and forth and not relocate. #114: Senior Machine Learning Engineer: 1 Position. 6 Month+ Contract with likely extensions. This is working on our new Cabin Awareness team, which is working on technology to prevent hot car deaths for children and animals. Candidate must be willing to relocate to Plano if they are out of town. Candidates must have 5 years of production experience in software development or Data Science. Must have production experience in both Machine Learning and Deep Learning. Must have 3+ years of production experience in Data Science and/or ML. We do not count school/college experience or experience while working on their PhD as years of production experience. We are not looking for someone with a Research background. The Hirevue for this position has technical verbal questions around ML and Deep Learning technologies and has 1 coding challenge they will need to code in Python. Required Skills – Must have all of these skills to be considered: • 5+ years of production experience working in Data Science or Software Engineering • 3+ years of production experience in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and/or Signal Processing • Solid production experience using Python (including NumPy) and SQL • Solid production experience using TensorFlow and/or PyTorch • Strong fundamentals in problem solving, algorithm design and complexity analysis • Hands-on experience with web APIs, containers, CI/CD and testing
