About the role
Role: Mainframe Programmer/developer Location: 100%remote Duration: 6+Months 1 and done interview. 1 hour Teams panel (or 30 min per team) Required Skills: • Senior level experience – ideally 10+ years • COBOL • DB2 (recent hands on experience and strong experience, very important) • CICS – should have some understanding, ideally should be able to code in CICS • Experience leading offshore teams Basic Qualifications : •2+ years’ experience leading an offshore team, also have exposure or practical experience with Test Automation frameworks. •This position offers the unique opportunity to utilize the below Test Automation tools as part of our Mainframe Modernization efforts as related to batch processing: • GitLab • DB2/SPUFI Additional Skills : • IDz • Java • JSON • ECMAScript / JavaScript • File Manager API (IBM z/OS Connect Enterprise Edition) • Jenkins or other CI/CD orchestration software • Kubernetes • Other languages such as SAS, Focus or Easytrieve and REXX Thanks & Regards, Naveen Sai - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
