About the role
Job Title: Mainframe Developer Location: Remote Duration: 6months Report To Required Skills: COBOL, Jcl, DB2, CICS and MQSeries. Additional Skills: Additional scripting skills - Oracle and a scripting language (Tcl, Python or Perl) or Java is a plus. Job Description: Desired Skills & Experience: Extensive experience with application development and the system development life cycle (SDLC) Knowledge of SDLC concepts and software development Hands on programming and software development experience with at least 6 years working in an IBM mainframe environment using the following technologies: Cobol, Jcl, DB2,CICS and MQSeries. Knowledge of Oracle and a scripting language (Tcl, Python or Perl) or Java is a plus. Prior professional services & customer facing experience a plus Must be customer focused and have the ability to manage and resolve solutions to complex technical issues Excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work independently toward stated business goals Enterprise Data Management is focused on delivering the firm’s master data strategy, implementing enterprise data policies & governance, driving a holistic access to data via our data Lake, and enabling the business to deliver advanced outcomes for ourselves and our customers using AI/ML techniques. This position will sit in the data innovation team, helping to stand up regulatory data office team.
