Microsoft D365 Engineer

Role: Microsoft D365 Engineer Location: 9am -5pm/Hybrid in Richmond, VA (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) Duration: 3 Month Contract to Hire Required Skills (In order of importance) • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (Not CRM) • .NET • C# Essential duties will include: • Design and develop new applications while maintaining existing applications developed on C# and ASP.NET MVC, and .NET CORE • Migrate existing systems to Microsoft Azure Cloud • Research, identify and recommend optimal solutions and technologies for on-going system improvements • Participate in project planning and effort estimation • Modernize existing business applications to run on Azure PaaS • Analyze business needs, develop requirements, design, develop and test custom software solutions • Provide technical leadership and take multiple systems and cross-system integration into account when designing and developing solutions • Debug, troubleshoot and isolate software problems • Work in a team environment to develop, test, and deploy software changes • Work with customers to understand and implement new requirements • Develop well-tested, high performance, scalable web applications • Turn over high quality completed and tested code to QA • Develop regression testing automation scripts Minimum Requirements the person selected for this position will have: • 5+ years hands-on development experience using C#, .NET technologies, including frameworks such as ASP.Net, Web Forms, MVC, .NET Standard and .NET CORE o 2+ years’ application development experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud including experiences with App Service, Azure Functions and Logic Apps • -2+ years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server products and working with data using SQL queries • -2+ years’ experience in DevOps and Agile/Scrum practices o Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations experience o Excellent oral and written communication skills o Flexibility to adapt to change and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment o Experience working both independently and within a team environment o Experience in setting and meeting project deadlines o The ability to follow logic to develop complex applications along with good problem-solving skills • A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.
