About the role
Role: Mid-Sr Java Developer Location – Initially remote but later would need to work on site - San Antonio, TX / Plano, TX Contract – 12 months Only on W2 Candidates will have to take a coding assessment. Must Have: 1. Java development experience (4 years min) 2. Spring boot 3. REST These Developers will lead a team of developers fabricating web applications in a Java environment working with REST, SOAP and WebSphere. The priorities of these Engineers will be: Create and maintain the platforms our members rely on every day for their financial security. Here, you will invent. You'll design and test. You'll take risks. You'll create new technology, but the impact you'll make on our members will be far more significant. You will apply your knowledge of various Java platforms to develop innovative software solutions for both internal and member-facing projects across us .com and mobile spaces. You will lead team members and work closely with business clients to analyze user requirements, design and code applications, and customize commercial software packages. Details below: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) majors, or 4+ years of equivalent work experience in IT • AND, 6+ years of software development experience utilizing one or more of these full-stack development languages (Java J2EE, JavaScript, React, Angular, CSS3, or HTML5) with at least 2 of those years in Java J2EE • PREFERRED • At least 4 years’ experience in Java J2EE and Web Services (Restful and SOAP) • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues • Experience working in an Agile development environment • Experience developing responsive applications • Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Wicket, XML and JSON Thanks & Regards, Gousia Syed - Technical IT Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
