MongoDB Database Engineer

Role- MongoDB Database Engineer Duration- 12 months Location- Charlotte, NC or Phoenix, AZ Requirements: 4+ years of experience with database development using MongoDB 4+ years of advanced SQL 1+ years of experience with Kafka Description: The CTO data and analytics team is looking to bring on someone with MongoDB experience to build a time series data base and follow the enterprise process to set up requests. This person will be doing the programming of MongoDB, building the objects, documenting and sharing with the team. This team has been newly branded as CTO Data and Analytics and is a fast growing group producing dashboards, reports and BI for technology leadership. They are directly feeding all of the software engineering teams their product and its growing. The primary focus of this resource is to follow enterprise guidelines to build and deploy non-production and production instances of MongoDB, integrate with existing SQL database instances, and integrate with existing Kafka data feeds. Additionally, the resource will document the solution and educate the existing development team. This role is part of a scrum team so Agile scrum experience is also a must have. Project: Positions falls under the newly rebranded CTO LOB. The team is mostly consisted of SQL Server developers. Task is now to bridge existing database with MongoDB.
