About the role
Role: MongoDB DBA Vendor/Client: Apex/Optum Location: 100% Remote Duration: 6 Month Contract to hire Responsibilities: • Work with application teams to implement best practices with MongoDB. • Understand MongoDB sharding and how to choose appropriate shard keys • Knowledge of managing a MongoDB cluster using Mongos OpsManager tool • Optimization and tuning of MongoDB cluster settings • Migrating to public cloud • Guiding app teams on proper indexing and query tuning • Review work intake with the development team and ensure the cluster is sized correctly based on the data size/volume requirements • Operational activities including backup and recovery, database health checks, evaluate/plan/perform upgrades, support application releases Tech stack Desired: - 3+ years with MongoDB • -DBA experience in MYSQL, MS SQL, Oracle or Postgres. -- Thanks & Regards, Naveen Sai - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
