.Net Core Developer Lansing, MI (2 days/wk onsite) 6 month contract Interview process (how many rounds, who is involved?): One hour interview. 50% technical, 50% soft skills. 12-15 questions with Scott, tech lead and another manager Hiring manager name and history with this manager: Manager is very open to our process and has a lot of faith in the candidates that we have brought forward in the past Job Description: The two Programmer Analyst 6 positions will work as contract resources for the State of Michigan - Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) on a project for the Department of Health and Human Services. The resources will act in a developer and analyst role for a public loan forgiveness submission website and an internal submission review and approval web application. The resources will work in an agile environment to write and test code to implement the user stories and requirements. The application will be written with .NET 6 CORE using REST web services. Experience Required: 5+ years of .NET CORE 3.1 or higher (6.0 preferred) and C# experience. 5+ years of experience developing with REST web service interfaces. 5+ years of experience with SQL including writing and maintaining complex Select/Insert/Update statements. 3+ years of experience with developing code to allow users to upload documents from a website. 5+ years of experience with Agile / SCRUM processes and working an Sprint Development team. 3+ years of experience working with Azure DevOps / TFS using boards and code repository. 5+ years of experience working with GIT code repository software. 5+ years of experience developing unit and regression tests. 5+ years of experience developing secure websites using industry best practices (such as preventing cross site scripting or SQL injection attacks and coding logging into software functionality). Experience Preferred: Familiarity with Oracle database preferred. Familiarity with Design patterns preferred.
