About the role
Role: .NET Developer
Duration: 6 month contract to hire Location: Richmond, VA after it is deemed safe to return to the office. Remote initially. Visa: Must be USC, GC, GC EAD, or H4 EAD
W2 Only During COVID it’s REMOTE Only
EXPERIENCE: Three (3) years' experience including knowledge of Microsoft .NET certifications (MCP, MCSD, or MCAD) preferred.
Skills/knowledge/abilities (ska) Required
• Hands on experience with C#, NET Framework, ASP.NET, WebForms, WCF and .NET Web Services • Knowledge of OOAD and multi-tier architectures, including MVC/MVP/MVVM design patterns. • Hands on experience with JQuery, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as well as browser developer tools. . • Working experience with database schema design, stored procedures and SQL scripts. using Oracle and PL/SQL • Demonstrated knowledge of Unit, Integration, and Performance testing • .NET third party user and custom controls • Experience with source code control systems, merging, versioning, release and deployment (TFS preferred) • Agile software process • Excellent inter-personal, communication and problem solving skills. • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs. • Team player who is delivery-oriented and takes responsibility for the team's success. • Enthusiastic, can-do attitude with the drive to continually learn and improve. • Highly self-motivated, creative and able to dive deep in problem solving.
Skills/knowledge/abilities (ska) Preferred
• RESTful API-Web Services • Web development frameworks like Angular or React • Experience configuring and tuning a local IIS environment • Experience with RDBMS and SQL, specifically developing and tuning scripts, functions and stored procedures • SAFe Agile Framework • Secured coding best practices, knowledge of Veracode preferred • Agile tracking software, JIRA preferred
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company's learning philosophy, is required. Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.
