Job Title: .Net Developer Location: Remote Top requirements 5+ years .Net web application development (more backend focused) C#/asp.net SQL -need to be able to write stored procs and tables Agile Need at least some exposure to Angular or React Qualifications • Education: BA or BS in Engineering, Computer Science or technical domain with 4 years of related experience OR. General B.S. Degree and 5 years related experience OR Related Technical Associate Degree and 5 years related technical experience OR 6 years of related technical experience. • Experience: Skills– C#/ASP.NET, Java, JavaScript, HTML5/CSS3, SQL, JSON, XML, AngularJS, ReactJS preferred. Object Oriented Programming preferred. Working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment preferred. Software development pattern and best practices competency preferred. OWASP Secure coding experience preferred. Agile development (Scrum and Kanban), continuous integration, software quality metrics, automated testing (UI and unit testing) preferred. • Licensure / Certification / Registration: Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD) OR preferred. Equivalent professional certification preferred. • Additional Skills/Requirements required: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff, user/customers, vendors, contractors/consultants and Novant Health ITS and support personnel. Ability to set technical direction and comply with project and coding standards and processes. Ability to estimate tasks and assess the accuracy of team member’s estimates as well as provide accurate status of team’s development work. Embraces, adapts, and encourages others to adopt new and changing technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated and directed with astute attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple project tasks simultaneously. Willing to work non-standard and extended hours. Willing to be on-call for resolution of production system problems.
