Title: .NET Developer Location: Remote (Must pick up equipment in Richmond, VA) Length: 6+ Months Required Skills .NET/C# Azman experience Web based services using ASMX Job Description Chesterfield is seeking an experienced .NET Framework 4.0 Consultant to join our team through staff augmentation. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0, with expertise in building SOAP-based web services using ASMX and WCF. Familiarity with Microsoft AzMan for managing security and access is essential. Key Responsibilities: Develop a new SOAP-based web service that will be used by existing applications within the organization. Implement the service using a pre-defined service contract used by the current system. Ensure that the new service replicates the data retrieval functionality of the existing service, which retrieves security and access details from Azman. Work on the decommissioning of the current Azman-based service once the new solution is in place. Collaborate with existing teams to ensure seamless integration with current applications and systems. Required Skills and Experience: Proficient in Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0, with hands-on experience in building ASMX and WCF SOAP-based web services. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azman for security and access management. Ability to work with pre-defined service contracts and integrate with existing systems. Experience in service decommissioning and transitioning to newer solutions. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
