About the role
Role: .Net developer Location: Remote Skillset: .NET (ASP.NET, .Net Core, .NET 5+), SQL/SQL Server, C# NICE TO HAVES: Telerik Experience, Healthcare/Insurance experience Description: Our client is seeking a senior developer to build software using the Microsoft .NET framework. The candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and delivering highly scalable software systems to meet business requirements and provide user support. In this role, the candidate should be able to gather requirements, be able to write functional code, and address develop issues as they arise. The candidate should be a team player and an excellent communicator. CANDIDATE PROFILE Education and Experience: • 8+ years of Microsoft .Net overall programming experience. • Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Design (OOD), design patterns, software architecture, systems integration concepts, and frameworks. • .NET 4.0, 4.5, or 4.6 using C# programming language with HTML5/CSS3 • Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, SharePoint, Office 365, and design/architectural patterns • Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC) • Technical expertise using DevOps, Agile, and waterfall development principles models • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills • Ability to translate information security objectives into mutually beneficial business strategies for the client organizations • Hands-on experience with Telerik (Winforms-based UI library) Core Day-to-Day Activities: • Designs modifies, develops, writes, and implements software programming applications following established architecture standards as well as software development and project management methodologies. • Codes software applications to adhere to designs supporting business requirements and customers. • Strong troubleshooting abilities in a distributed multi-tier enterprise environment. • Ability to start new code projects from scratch or to fix/debug / update existing projects. • Collaborates well with the team member and product owners to define the requirements and specifications. • Provides sound advice and recommendations to leadership and staff on a variety of relevant topics within the pertinent subject domain. • Applies knowledge of priorities to define an entity’s direction, and identify programs or infrastructure that are required to achieve desired goals within the domain of interest.
