.NET Developer Remote Description: Where is the work to be performed? (Please list preferred UHG facility, if other please specify i.e. remote work, rural, etc.) remote work What does the team make-up look like – how many members and what is the break-down of the team’s skill sets (ex: 1 PM, 4 Developers, etc.)? 5 developers (FT) + a few contract developers this year, supported by a team of QAs and BAs. Agile software team. Team is all remote. What are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc) Some flexibility here, there is a daily huddle meeting at 9:30 CT that is required, project meetings could happen anywhere from 8-430 CT.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer with extensive experience in software development to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in .NET technologies, a passion for building scalable applications, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions using C#, MVC, and .NET Core. Utilize Entity Framework Core to interact with relational databases (SQL Server) • Front-End Development: Primary UI/UX designer to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript and React. • Database Management: Create custom queries to facilitate possible CRUD operations and reporting needs. • REST API Development: Create and manage RESTful APIs to integrate front-end applications with existing services. • Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable code and conduct unit testing using XUnit to ensure software reliability and performance. • Self-Management: Take initiative in project tasks, demonstrating a self-starter attitude and the ability to work independently. Required Experience: • 8+ years of software development experience. • 4+ years of experience as a .NET developer with expertise in C#, MVC, and .NET Core. • 4+ years of experience in JavaScript and/or JavaScript UI frameworks, particularly React. • 4+ years of experience with HTML/CSS. • 4+ years of experience working with relational databases (SQL Server). • Strong knowledge of Entity Framework and/or Entity Framework Core. Preferred Experience: • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices. • Knowledge of Azure DevOps pipeline development (CI/CD setup). • Experience in developing cloud-hosted services on Azure. • Experience with Kafka topics • Proficiency in unit test development using XUnit. • Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.

What does the interview process look like? a. How many rounds? Generally two b. Video vs. phone? Phones is fine c. How technical will the interviews be? Not overly technical on the first one, the second round would be w/ the development team so may be more technical.
