About the role
Role: Data.Net developer
Location: Mainly remote but have to go on-site once a quarter Length: 1 year contract Address for office: N 14, W23800 Stone Ridge Dr. Waukesha WI 53188 United States Must haves/Technical Skills: 5+ years of experience Back-end .NET/C# Integration and API’s Azure cloud Azure DevOps ETL/SSIS/Data experience Nice to haves: Insurance experience Guidewire experience Project: They are moving from a legacy .NET system to Azure cloud and will be re-writing their legacy system. This team manages incoming data so heavy integration work. Description: • Designs, codes, verifies, tests, documents, amends and refactors moderately complex programs/scripts. Applies agreed standards and tools, to achieve a well-engineered result. • Applies data analysis, design, modelling, and quality assurance techniques, based upon a detailed understanding of business processes, to establish, modify or maintain data structures and associated components (entity descriptions, relationship descriptions, attribute definitions). Advises database designers and other application development team members on the details of data structures and associated components.
• Experience assembling solutions using custom development, off the shelf systems, and 3rd party integrations
• 5+ years Experience creating modern APIs and designing services with REST/JSON
• 5+ years coding in multiple programming languages such as C# .Net
• 5+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL – MS SQL Server preferred
• 2+ years of experience with Azure cloud based applications.
