Job Description: Within IT Software Engineering and Delivery (ITSED), the Summit Team develops and supports the Bank's Core Banking and Risk Management systems. This is primarily the Summit application and lesser so, Polypaths and Compasspoint. The Bank's new Wires system, EFT Gold, is being added to the Summit teams responsibilities. Currently, the Summit team is working on onboarding the EFT Gold application and integrating it with Summit. This role will be working on coding activities in support of the Bank’s EFT Gold project and will work collaboratively with other members of the Summit Development team. The EFT Gold project will replace the Bank’s current wires system, GFX, with a new SaaS-based application called EFT Gold. This will require development using several key technologies such as C#, C++, .netcore, ASPnet, AWS services among others. This includes using the Bank’s suite of DevSecOps tooling and processes, integrating with multiple core Banking systems such as Summit via REST APIs while also leveraging automation and robust monitoring solutions. Both security and quality will be paramount, as wires transactions are typically low in volume but high in value.

Developer Responsibilities: • Reviews and provides input into design patterns and testing plan/strategy • Writes application code or scripts in support of the system build and testing efforts • Reviews and provides input into a formal transition plan • Provides input into the DevSecOps tooling and approach • Attends Agile team ceremonies
