IMMEDIATE HIRING AND ONLY ON W2 Role: .Net Tester REMOTE 6 month contract Project Overview: 2 web-based .NET applications written in-house. One governs workflow for commercial loan processing, the other manages documentation for loan processing. They’re migrating the whole application into the cloud and identified several “missteps” in development, mostly in the API layer. Becoming more Agile and this team is placing test automation at the forefront. 25% of the way through the project of cloud migration. Architecture is solidified – React was big pain-point and that is improved a lot and now in a rinse repeat process and now in a bottle neck there. test framework is built out – it is matured so just need to execute. As new screens are built out need to keep up and do maintenance work on already built out framework UI / functional / API testing / Regression – join and jump in on UI testing, this is where majority of work is, but will eventually help on full stack. UI – Xpath locator experience Just Javascript and Jest (Jest is nice to have) SQL – query optimization required Tested cloud hosted apps – preferred, now on private cloud, not moved to Azure yet (PII not approved yet, but maybe by 2024) Need strong Selenium and API testing on Postman scripts Role Notes: • Building out automated test suite in C# with Selenium • Most of test framework is already built out, won’t necessarily be helping to build frameworks from scratch, but speeding up the process by picking up and taking on automated test cases • Mostly automated—80-20 rule, so 20% could be manual at any given point in time. Identifying test • cases, writing manual tests and then automating • Coding as pertains to automation, not going to be getting into the dev side of things. • Dev team is working mostly with REST API/microservices. Need strong experience in API testing with Postman and some unit with Nunit. • Mostly API testing, some regression, integration, performance • Using Postman for API testing • Leveraging Selenium and Jest for UI testing (UI is React.js), would be nice to have if they have • experience in Javascript testing w/ Jest, Jasmine, Chai, etc. • Need some SQL experience—writing queries, interacting with Selenium. • CI/CD pipelines already built and any deployments will fall to more Sr team members Must Have: • Automation testing in C# • Postman • Nunit • API testing • Jira • Agile/Scrum experience • Browser Stack Nice to Have: • Jest or other Javascript testing experience • Banking/Finance Industry Experience __ _ _ Thanks & Regards, Suganya S / US IT RECRUITER Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
