Network Administrator

Role: Network Administer Location: Lisle, IL (Only Chicago candidates or someone who can relocate) Duration: Full Time Contract Job Description Sr. Network & Security Administrator Sr. Network and Security Administrator, for a candidate with advanced Network & Security skills. The candidate should have relevant experience in the areas of network security and operational management of networking equipment and the ability to work within a global team of technologist. This role is part of the Corporate IT Infrastructure Team based in Lisle, IL. ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE The reports to the Manager of IT Infrastructure. This is a hands on technical role, not a management role. Required Job-Related Skills and Experience: • Analyzes and develops information security governance, including organizational policies, procedures, standards, baselines, and guidelines concerning information security and use and operation of information systems within the NIST SP800-171 framework/standard. • Experience in security systems, including Fortinet, Crowd Strike and other intrusion technologies, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, internet content filtering, etc. • Experience with networking technologies such as. SD-WAN, Meraki, Cisco, HP, and Dell networking equipment. • Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols • Experience with Cisco technologies • Experience with Cisco Meraki services • Experience with Microsoft Tenant/Azure technologies • Experience with MFA concepts/implementation/management • AD and group policy management • Trouble shooting and resolution of networking related issues Preferred skills: • Familiarity with PCI-DSS regulatory compliance • Experience with ITIL, Agile (SAFe, Scrum) and other technology frameworks • Understanding of SDWAN overlay networking • Experience with Wireless networking, Meraki devices preferred • Experiences with RADIUS based authentication • Demonstrable knowledge of information security control frameworks, i.e. NIST Thanks & Regards, M Pavan Kumar IT-Recruiter Staffing | Thoughtwave Software and Solutions Desk: 630-381(0025) || Email:pavan@thoughtwavesoft.com
