About the role
Role- Network/Data Center Engineer Duration- 6 Months Location- Irving TX or Summit NJ 2-3 days onsite Project Description: Positions are required to quickly address or migrate B2B connections from legacy data centers in order to meet Data Center Exit timelines. These positions on the Business to Business Hosting team are needed to support the data analysis, planning, 3rd Party contact communication and co-ordination activities for the migration of connections to the SNI locations from the legacy data centers. Request is for right to hire contract resources with a plan to move to FTE in future. Staff augmentation to support buildout of Secure Network Services (SNS) Critical Infrastructure in the new North America Data Centers. pecific Job Description: Section :3 Customized Job Description Describe: job summary, job purpose, job duties, responsibilities, required qualifications, preferred qualifications, team structure, team culture/expectations and working conditions Responsible for research and design of business to business network connection solution decisions. Plan and execute network changes via the Wells Fargo change control process, assist on mitigating risk by proactively addressing capacity problems or system related issues, participate in enterprise level projects from an network perspective. Section 4: Required Skills •7-9 years experience designing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprises •7-9 years experience with IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, RIP) in a large enterprise environment •Demonstrated skill with creating and/or updating technical design documentation used by engineering teams •CCNA, CCNP/DP or CCIE Certification preferred - Datacenter •Strong experience in Business to Business Extranet Connectivity including transport, resiliency, natting, VPN •Strong experience in existing connectivity analysis and recommendations on current preferred solutions •Strong experience in configuring Cisco and Arista Routers/Switches •Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills •Demonstrable experience of engaging partners and other stakeholders to support important business decisions. Section 5: Desired Skills •Strong understanding of the following layer 2 switching protocols: Spanning Tree, Trunking, Etherchannel •Strong understanding of the following: HSRP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, Multicast, Ethernet, EVPN, MLAG, CVP •Strong understanding of DNS/domain services •Python/Ansible/GITHUB experience a plus •Experience and familiarity with Change control processes - Service Now •Bachelor’s degree in Computers or Electronics with 7-9 Years of Networking Experience -- ---- Thanks & Regards, Tejash - Technical Recruiter Thought wave Software and Solutions 314 N.
