W2 Only During COVID it’s REMOTE

Required Skills:

1. CCIE or high level CCNP. CCIE strongly preferred.
2. Ability to work onsite 5 days per week at National Life in Lansing, MI
3. As much of tech stack listed as possible combined with clear communication skills and a “consulting” personality given the business relationships involved

Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: The role requires a flexible, senior/lead engineer who is capable of managing multiple work streams in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Deploy Network infrastructure and execute services covering the installations, testing, cutover, migration and troubleshooting. • Ability to design, manage a WAN, LAN network with complex network technology. • Responsibility for various stages of the network development. This may include: design, analysis, configuration, testing and fixing issues with the network infrastructure or application components • Troubleshooting of Catalyst / Nexus switches, Wireless controllers, Access Points, ASR / ISR routers. • To assist in the planning, design, and implementation, of data network projects. • Provide technical support for projects as required • Advance trouble shooting on operational issues (L3 –Level) • Configure and utilize a variety of network management tools ( Solarwind, Netflow, Infoblox) Skills required: • Should have 10+ years of experience. • Cisco Networking Skills, ideally to CCNP level • Knowledge and hands on experience in Cisco catalyst switches and Nexus 5k, 7k, 9k ect. • Knowledge and hands on experience in OSPF, ISIS, BGP, IP MPLS in enterprise or service provider networks • Security: Firewalls, VPNs, Authentication (TACACS, AAA, PKI), 802.1x, NAC (Cisco ISE). Also should have excellent implementation and troubleshooting skills for Check point firewall & Bluecoat Proxy. • Load Balancers: Must have hands-on experience on F5 Load balancer. • Basic knowledge of Azure architecture ( preferred) • Must have very good understanding of New age technologies like Cisco ACI, SDN (SD-LAN, SD-WAN, SD-WIRELESS), SDA. • Fair understanding on Cisco Meraki/Viptela/Velocloud etc.

Certifications: • CCNA (R&S) • CCNP (Preferred)
