Required Skills: OFFICE The ideal candidate will have experience with packet aggregation, capture, and analysis. This is a year-long contract assisting with evaluating applications as part of a data center migration. Detailed Description: • Design packet aggregation strategy for new builds in Data Center • Configure packet aggregation switches to support new DC builds. • Configure packet capture appliances. • Collaborate with network engineers to validate capture points and packet flows. • Document design and configuration for use by operational support teams. • Train operational support personnel on aggregation and capture devices. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree • 5 years’ experience in network configuration and deployment. • Experience with packet aggregation switches such as Apcon or Gigamon. • Experience with packet capture appliances such as Endace or Viavi • Strong interpersonal/communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively from remote location. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience analyzing packet captures with Wireshark or other packet analysis tools. • Experience with Riverbed Transaction Analyzer or other predictive analysis tools. • Experience with Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or other application performance monitoring tools. • Experience with LiveAction or other NetFlow analysis tools.
