About the role
Role: Network Planning Engineer
Location: Remote Austin,TX Duration: 6 months
Required Skills : VoIP Basic Qualifications :
Job Description: Plan for the integration or replacement of Dell Network solutions and services in a customer’s environment. Identify, define, and establish organizational common practices. Responsible for accurate documentation and overall customer satisfaction. Provide technical knowledge and solution planning for the field services organization and engagement in a hybrid of complex or sensitive customer situations. Document and plan heterogeneous SANs/NAS/Networks, and Core/Edge Networks. Keep solution deliverables on target by providing exceptional customer service/support skills for multiple customer engagements in multiple geographic areas.
Minimum Educational Requirements: No degree and 2+ years of experience in the job offered or 5 year of experience in a Network/support and services environment, or related occupation in lieu of Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience.
Requires experience with the following: LAG, LACP, Stacking, MC-LAG Technologies, TACACS, RADIUS, OSPF, BGP, BGP-EVPN, ECMP, VRRP, HSRP, ACL, FCoE, RSTP, PVST+, MSTP, 802.1q, VOIP, Multicast L2/L3, QoS, IPv6, AAA, VRF, EIGRP
Additional skills: Firewall Wireless NSX TELCO
Certifications: At least one industry recognized certification like: Dell Technologies Proven Professional Dell Networking Certified Associate Dell Networking Certified Specialist CCNP CCNA CCIE JNCP VCTA VCP VCAP
