Oracle DBA

Oracle DBA Remote Must be USC or GC Holder Hours: core set of hours- 9-5EST On-call rotation- 6-8 weeks Moving from on-prem to Colo. Moving that will be a big task. The migration is from oracle to oracle. It will be moving the 19c to the Colo 19c. need to know backup and restore, and RMAN backups and restores. Heavy weekend work: M-F with a couple weekends a month – we do not want them to work more than 8-10 hours so they have 2 people on shifts each day. Once they work the weekend work – they will then communicate which day they will have off during the week. We want to try and limit the hours to 40. Oracle DBA Skills: -Oracle version 19c, 12c, working with data guard, RMAN, performance impacts, RAC, OEM experience backups: Zero data loss- secondary appliances- oracle has appliance where they backup backups. There will be zero data loss. Must be UNIX based

• encryption- knowledge of at rest and in transit encryption (multiple wallets in Oracle) -have to have worked on enterprise level systems, no small mom and pop shops
• Scripting (shell) experience is a must
• working towards automation as a company the person needs to be able to read and understand what a store procedure does Pluses: Exadata and financial experience Needs to have good communication On-prem to Colo to ACH, 50 TB's to be moved Oracle 19c, how soon can it be moved, scripting will be major requirement and requires automated Dataguard experience, RMAN(resource manager) experience, Performance impact experience -- REQUIRED Low spin up time, very impactful from day 1 AWS, Oracle Exadata experience also required, Zero data loss, Oracle appliances for Zero Data Loss Unix based dominantly, needs to be excellent scripting
