About the role
Role: Oracle HCM Developer
Duration: 6 months + Location: Charlotte preferred, but remote ok, If remote, must be onsite first week on their OWN DIME Rate: $50/hr on w2
Top Requirements:
- 10+ years of Oracle development experience
- Payroll processing in Oracle HCM
- Configuration, payroll process flow, taxes and cost
- HDL loaders or HSDL loaders
- Education on how to use Oracle HCM

Day to Day Responsibilities/project specifics: This client began an HCM implementation several months ago and utilizes an SI partner to help with this project. The new product is Oracle and the team is looking to bring Oracle knowledge in house. This role is payroll specific, so ideal candidates will have Oracle HCM payroll knowledge. Ability and willingness to educate are important as this role has been created in part to facilitate knowledge transfer to the team. This person will be hands on, doing the development work to help the project stay on budget. Tasks will be varied and may involve specifics pieces outside of the SI partner’s contract.
Description: Follows company software development lifecycle (SDLC) to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents. Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback. Collaborates with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency. Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.
Assist the Payroll Technology team in testing Payroll OHCM processes, identify and analyze bugs found during testing, and document them. Pay close attention to details when running the tests, documenting, and reporting results. Report any defects and collaborate with the software developers to find a fix and patch the program.
The candidate will assist in implementing Oracle HCM on Cloud for the following tasks: • Use Oracle Cloud methodologies to create new, enhance, and troubleshoot components/tools such as Fast Formulas, HCM Extract, OTBI, BI Publisher, PL-SQL, and OIC. • Assist in testing on-cycle and off-cycle payroll process flows, GL costing and creating third-party files. • Assist in loading data using HDL and HSDL loaders for Payroll related items. • As a team member, enhance product knowledge and user understanding of the system to the Payroll Technology Team. • Load data using HDL and HSDL loaders for Payroll related items.
