- years PL/SQL development experience including experience in each of the following areas: · Creating and maintaining large packages, stored procedures, functions, record structures, tables, views, indexes and triggers · PL/SQL unit testing, code troubleshooting and debugging · Query performance tuning · Database design Soft skills: · Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills · Self-motivated individual with strong desire to solve problems through investigative means; strong organizational skills · Ability to work independently and manage one’s time effectively, as well as function effectively and collaboratively within a team · Exercise good judgment and decision-making skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training Essential Duties and Responsibilities · This position is responsible for implementing business logic in Oracle DB packages, functions and procedures that supports the development, deployment and support of large mission critical enterprise Web applications · Involved in all phases of the software lifecycle with an emphasis on database logic implementation and design · Assisting in the design of the application architecture with a focus on scalability, maintainability, security and performance · Following established coding standards and naming conventions Other Skills and Competencies The items listed below are representative of the desired knowledge, skills and abilities that would benefit the candidate · Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and SOLID design principles · Experience with Restful Web Services (Web API / REST API) · Experience with Git or any other source control system · Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines · Experience with Microsoft .Net Core · Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell
