Automation: write scripts in selenium and cucumber
Not from scratch- read, write/update, execute
Wires, swift, and Fedwire, ach, messages – that is the key. working on the wires systems, manual testing, automation testing-updating the scripts and running and executing this
Strong knowledge of payment systems, any of Wires, ACH, SWIFT, and Fedwire. (BK/NK – Knowledge of ISO messages e.g., Pacs.008, Pain.001, Camt.054, FTH, FTR Formats etc.)- reading the reports and validating them -digging in on message types- this is what they are testing
Location: 100% REMOTE
Contract length: 12+ months with high potential for extension and conversion (CONTINGENT ON PERFORMANCE)
Requirements
- 5+ years of Automation testing; selenium, java and cucumber Heavy payments experience, specifically testing payments wires systems – Fed Wire , wire transfers, ACH, payments systems Testing Swift messaging types (MT101, 102, etc) Responsibilities:
Work alongside with business analysts and developers to author test plans and test cases Perform test case execution and generate burndown reports Identify, access, and report on quality issues Proactively identify opportunities to improve adequate test coverage Conduct quality work in a fast-paced agile environment Create manual test cases Translate manual test cases into an automation-based framework Automate web and mobile based applications Create automated test scripts using programming languages such as Java, python, etc. Define best practices within the organization around CI/CD processes and tools and how Quality Assurance integrates with the workflow Required:
+3 years of experience as a QA Engineer on an agile development team Experience with functional and acceptance testing Experience writing and documenting test plans and test cases Experience in executing and tracking test cases Generate reports reflecting test execution burndown and software quality assessment Knowledge of web automation using Selenium Web driver or equivalent In-depth knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools and how QA integrates with the workflow and knowledge of OOP concepts Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) Web troubleshooting experience and knowledge of browser debugging tools Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
