Payments Systems Analyst

Position: Payment Systems Analyst Location: Remote OR Boston, MA. (Hybrid onsite preferred) Duration: 6 Mo. + (conversion or long-term expected) Required Skills :

• Must have experience in:
• ISO Messaging
• Fedwire Payments
• SWIFT 1 & 2 series (MT1X, MT2X) (not trade or investments)
• Must possess understanding of High Value and Low value payments
• Must be able to analyze user requirements and convert them into functional/design documents
• Exposure/Development experience working with Middleware, Databases, Queries, Technology stacks and workflows.
• Must have understanding of tech stacks, applications, MQ, Accounting, GL's and end to end payment systems. Basic Qualifications : Additional Skills : Job Description : Apex has an opportunity for a Payment Systems analyst to join our team in a fast paced Financial Services industry client on an exciting project!

Position Description: Business Systems Analyst will support multiple implementations in the payments programs- including projects that will transform payments off of existing applications to a new payment hub.

The successful candidate for the role will have a technical skill set, can run intermediate to complex queries. They will have worked with payments beyond only ACH or Credit Cards, as the role will require they posses an end to end understanding of payment workflows- including electronic payment flow i.e. from channel initiation to middleware, Database, MQ, debits/credits, GL.

To solve computer problems, test cost-effective solutions (software and hardware), and provide support to business and technology teams for software deployments to test and production environments. Will take business requirements and prepares specifications and documents for programmers. Drafts informational materials and graphics to explain systems to resources. Proficient with or able to quickly learn systems and software used by the organization

Core Requirements:

• 0-2 years
• Have basic Mainframe programming knowledge – online and batch
• SW Programming knowledge
• Must have Financial industry exposure in multiple types of Payments and core banking technologies.
• Must understand flow of payments both functionally and technically.
• Must have experience in:
