Peoplesoft System Administrator

Role: PeopleSoft System Administrator

Duration: 6+ months Location: Remote for the foreseeable future

W2 Only During COVID it’s REMOTE

Apex Systems is working with a large Columbus-based electric utility company to support their migration to PeopleSoft 9.2. We are looking for a PS System Administrator with a technical background in hands-on development to ensure that the currently implemented PS 9.1 environment is running smoothly. This role has a possibility of on call support on nights and/or weekends.

PeopleSoft Experience • 5+ years working with PS • Administration & Tuning • PeopleSoft Finance, • PeopleSoft HR • PeopleSoft Portal • PeopleSoft Expense. • People Soft project migration • Back-out/Rollback projects • 5+ years working with Oracle • Corporate environments • Large/complex schemas • 5+ years SQL • Experience with F5 Load balancers • Generating complex queries • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills • Liaison between many different business partners (i.e. directors, managers, developers, technical support specialists)

Nice-to-Have o Integration Broker Messaging between HR, Finance, Expense, OIM, Maximo, Cook, DWMS/Storms, Web Methods. o Augmentation/Validation (PeopleSoft database used for validation and augmentation by feeder systems) o Vertex o Applying PUMs/Application Patches

Education · Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science · Associate’s Degree with 4-8 years IT Software Developer related experience · High School Diploma/GED with 6 years IT Software Developer experience
