Job Title: Power Bi Administrator Location: Remote Basic Qualifications : Power BI administration/development SQL DAX ETL and data warehouse familiarity is nice to have Additional Skills : • Really need someone who can dive into PowerBI, what is being used, what isn’t, who posted what, etc. • Need someone who understands PowerBI and will manage/maintain and someone who can handle add-ons to PowerBI Desktop – what is safe for us to use? This is a great tool, we should use it! Should we use this widget or is it too risky? • Handling permissions, troubleshoot issues • Will also help with building reports and dashboards, might equate to 25% of the overall work Job Description : The Power BI Administrator is responsible for overseeing the integration, deployment, dashboard development and administration of the Power BI platform. This individual will drive strategic initiative items and the Business Intelligence road map. This position will also act as a mentor and teacher of Reporting Analysts that are new to Power BI. The Power BI Admin should be an expert in the functionality of Power BI to help Centura Health build an industry leading analytics platform and bring an easy-to-use end user experience. The candidate should also have a solid understanding of data modeling and data warehouse designs that are optimal for use with Power BI. The Power BI Administrator will also oversee all licensing duties for the users as well ensure proper user level security protocols are in place ensuring client data is secure. The candidate should also be knowledgeable on performing system upgrades if / when needed. Ensure Power BI platform is optimized and monitor server activity / usage statistics to identify possible performance issues / enhancements Oversee and maintain all user licenses and data gateways Bring design and functionality ideas to the table for a positive user experience Mentor / teach other members of the Reporting & Analytics team to develop in Power BI Perform administrative functions to ensure proper global settings, configuration and provision organizational resources in all aspects of Power BI Manage user and group permissions, workbooks and projects SQL Experience w/ Vendor Management Systems DAX experience (coding experience within Power BI) Strong familiarity of data warehouse and ETL processes Familiarity with metadata management, data governance and data strategies Experience in teaching / mentoring new developers Thanks&Regards, Kiran Tumuluri IT-Recruiter Staffing | Thought wave Software and Solutions Limited 6308125139kiran@thoughtwavesoft.com www.thoughtwavesoft.com 314 N.
