Power BI developer

Candidates should be comfortable working in CST Time Zone 10+ Years experience is mandatory. Power BI Developer- SQL, 100% REMOTE WORK 12-18 Months Contract Client is E.L.F. Cosmetics Phone/Skype Interview Must-have experience:

o 5-7+ years of PowerBI

o SQL (basic querying)

o Must have primary REPORTING background not just data --- asked if someone could be a data analyst and said maybe if they had PowerBI but have to want to be involved in reporting and passionate about that are not just analysis

o Good communication skills Nice to Have:- Retail experience is a nice to have Team Dynamics: • Will all work directly under manager and work in tandem with offshore counter-parts in their respective roles • Will interact with business as needed on scope and project details but primarily will be hands-on in the development and breaking up tasks between themselves and offshore team Level of experience target (junior/mid/senior and/or years of experience): Mid to senior level (5+ years of experience for all the positions) – Data engineer prefers more of a lead if possible PowerBI position: • Reason for need: Launching SAP and moving current resource there so looking to fill gap in PowerBI • Roles/Responsibilities: PowerBI report development o Responsible for working with the business on their requirements and then figuring out how to pull the data (SQL querying) and build out visuals and reports that are usable by team o Will be pulling data from cloud (Azure/Snowflake) but as long as they know basics of connecting to those DW to pull the data they don’t need to have other advanced knowledge there • Environment: Azure Data warehouse à migrating to snowflake and building dashboards in PowerBI as UI o May go to Tableau in the future but TBD there and experience not required • Nice to have background: o Cloud exposure (Azure or Snowflake) o PowerPivot/PowerQuery (Excel) o Tableau (may use in future state but DON’T want someone who is just focused/tied here)
