Job Title : Python Data Engineer Location: 100% Remote Duration: 12 Months, Required Skills : Python C#.Net or Java SQL Azure Data Factory, Databricks or similar on AWS side a plus Basic Qualifications : Python Coding Skills OOP Skills Experience in Data Engineering and/or API Development in other languages like C# or Java web apps Additional Skills : Excellent communication and problem solving skills. Job Description : The Wind team refers to the digital team providing data platform and analytics support to the bp Wind energy business. This team is focused on delivering projects / use cases that simplify existing processes and deliver cost savings by introducing predictive analytics, improving efficiency across bp’s Wind portfolio. BP provides renewable power through its significant interests in onshore wind energy in the United States, while developing and deploying new technologies to deliver that energy more efficiently. Proven experience designing applications Expertise in Python and willing to learn or has a secondary language like C# Experience working with Azure Data Factory & Databricks a plus Broad experience designing, planning, implementing, maintaining, and documenting solutions. Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in areas such as data structures, database table design, algorithm design, runtime complexity, system architecture (scalable, reliable, redundant design), API design, security, and privacy best practices, at scale monitoring, logging & alerting, testing best practices.
