Position : Python / AWS Engineer Location : Remote Duration : 12+ month contract, most likely 24+ year Client is Fidelity Investment
Skills
Must-Haves (Concepts & Tools): • Data Engineering / ETL (no specific tool because of how they are pulling from the RDBMS) / Data Analysis • AWS Highly preferred • Python (scripting & data movement is primary, but they would want them to build APIs) • Real-time and batch data • DevOps – Git for source code & Jenkins for deployments, they also have a Java component that runs on EKS and uDeploy but that’s not a requirement o Testing skills are nice because they get Nice-to-Haves (Concepts & Tools): • Airflow • Snowflake • NoSQL • Reporting skills (they use Tableau) • Kafka or an AWS tool that does something similar
